Regius Capital is creating the Regius Technology Fund (RTF) as a result of its strongly held belief that in the next decade there would be an unprecedented array of investment opportunities in the technology sector as the Information Revolution is well underway.

The Fund will target meaningful, long-term investments in growing business driven by exponential technologies. The Fund will seek to acquire minority interests in both public and private growing technology companies around the globe with particular focus in North America and Asia.

Exponential technologies are those which are rapidly accelerating and shaping major industries and all aspects of our lives. Exponential technologies include: artificial intelligence (AI), augmented and virtual reality (AR, VR), autonomous driving, cloud, biotech, blockchain, data science, digital marketing, e-commerce, fintech, healthtech, internet, IoT, nanotech, robotics, and mobile.

The Fund will make use of Regius Capital’s deep investment experience. Regius Capital will have a dedicated team of experts embedded deeply within the technology sector to cover the macro picture of the industry down to company-level operating, financial and valuation information to identify top performers.

Regius Capital will take a thoughtful approach to portfolio construction as the managers invest in companies that are technological leaders, exponentially driven and operationally resilient. Through deep research and disciplined portfolio construction, Regius Capital will seek to deliver strong, risk-adjusted returns over time.
